Due to a company restructure Randstad Staffing Solutions are currently recruiting for a Finance Manager in Great Malvern.

Our client, a niche player in the retail supply chainmarket,is seeking a Finance and Accounting Manager to head up a finely tuned finance department in the heart of Malvern. They offer a challenging environment with plenty of opportunities for personal development and career advancement.

Job specification:

  • Able to oversee both Financial and Management accounts as well as transactional

  • Oversee efficient production of nominal tasks, finance tables and financial reports.

  • Supervise and support the year-end audit and preparation of tax computations and forms.

  • Support the Finance Director and Commercial Accountant in the preparation of the business plan, annual budget and financial analysis, providing documentation and schedules as required.

  • Manage finance special projects, serve on committees and prepare presentations, reports and data analysis as appropriate.

  • Ensure completion of costings for contracts on open book basis.

  • Monitor service levels and take action to improve customer satisfaction.

  • Monitor and control central administration budget.

  • Provide variance analysis for significant spend areas of branch accounts.

Person Specification:

  • Experienced Finance Manager within a small/medium company
  • High level technical experience but able to deal with routine tasks
  • Hands on approach to management and daily tasks
  • Qualified or good on the job experience
  • Looking for career progression
  • Able to work well within a team of senior managers
